Entry is open to all applicants with a suitable level of workplace responsibility allowing sufficient opportunity to demonstrate competency through completion of tasks related to their job role.

Course duration
The estimated time to complete the course is 6-7 hours per week over an 18 month study period comprising on-the-job learning, workplace practice, self-directed study and assessment preparation. This will vary according to student experience and current practice.
Graduate outcomes
On successful completion of this course, students will have the skills to:
- plan and manage the critical elements of projects
- write effective project and marketing plans to meet the delivery requirements of corporate/business expectations
- use mechanisms linked with the plan for the day-to-day control of projects to meet objectives
- provide quality deliverables, with the ability to meet reporting requirements on demand
- select appropriate tools to support monitoring and control mechanisms and marketing activities
- assign agreed responsibilities to get the best out of core and broader team capabilities.
Industry recognition
The attainment of the Diploma of Business will allow for articulation into higher awards including the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management and a range of undergraduate and postgraduate awards offered by the UNE Business School.
